What really made us zero in on this model was the concise video we saw on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-AdZfIKnGwo). We couldn’t believe how they did the stairs (we added a turbo brush to do this). And, then, we tried it at home—it worked fantastic.
We know it’s still early (we’ve had this for only 2 days), but it is an excellent fit for us. This vacuum is, we never thought we’d say this, just wonderful. It’s fantastic on carpeting, tile, linoleum, and wood floors–we have all four. The premium model comes with a carpet head and a bare floor head plus a crevice tool and upholstery brush. (We’ll likely buy a wand and dust tool soon.) When you study the filtration design and implementation compared to others brands it is incredibly clever and highly effective.
One thing we had difficulty finding on-line was how loud vacuums were. If anything we found sites that ranked “noise level” or “quiet” but never actual decibel levels. When doing research we found that normal conversation ranges from 60 to 70 decibels. The Felix manual said that this vacuum registers at 68. We found to our amazement that we could talk over the vacuum—we’ve never been able to do this with any other vacuum. It is welcomely quiet!
It’s incredibly compact, has incredible maneuverability, and is very light. We are (again) simply amazed thus far. It’s worth evaluating this to see if this model/design works for you.

I love this vacuum! I went into a local vacuum shop to purchase a different brand, but after testing this vacuum, I was immediately sold. This vacuum has renewed my faith that someone still cares about manufacturing quality products. Shop around; my local SEBO dealer had a much lower price than what I’ve seen on the internet. Here are the pros and cons:
PROS (in no specific order)
1. Effortless to use. It glides across my carpets and floors with ease.
2. Relatively quiet. I can have a conversation while using it.
3. Very low profile. Less than 5 and one-half inches tall when the handle is lowered.
4. Superior durability and reliability. These machines rarely need service.
6. Simple, compact and elegant design.
7. Bags hold lots of dust and are very easy to change.
8. Top-notch HEPA filtration system. Acts like an air filter when cleaning.
9. Very long cord (about 40 feet).
10. Powerful motor.
11. Superb cleaning power. Head automatically (and undetectably) raises and lowers to match the height of the floor surface.
12. Traps (doesn’t scatter) debris when cleaning hard floors.
13. Well-written, concise user manual.
14. Belts designed to last a lifetime.
CONS
1. Stair attachment sold separately.
2. Not manufactured in the USA.

Excellent, excellent, excellent.
Vaccuum with this to make your carpets look like new.
Sucks all the dirt from everything, super easy to maneuver around corners, long power cord, bags last for months and hospital grade HEPA filter system means no dust in the air.
However there are noticable differences from Sebo X series-
Easier to steer and feels lighter.
Twin motors- removable head so better for cars and hard to reach places.
No auto height adjustment for cleaning head, you have to bend down for manual control.
Shorter plastic hand nozzle, you have to bend further to reach skirting.
Generates heat from chequered filter area, whereas the X series body is fully moulded plastic.
Sebo vaccuum cleaners would be perfect if the very best elements from all their models were in one vaccuum cleaner.
Until then these are simply the strongest, most durable, well engineered cleaners with the best filters in domestic/ commerical appliances available.

I too love my Sebo for all the new reasons listed by Happy New Mom. I have 3 Siberian Huskies and it works great. It is really easy to use and I have had it for over a year now. The joy of it has not worn off.

I just got this vacuum and love it so far. It is really lightweight and super versatile. I like how you can use it on both hardwood and carpet with a simple push of a button. So far, it’s super powerful and picks up all the kid dirt and dog hair, which is key since my baby is always playing on the floor. I like how you can detach the powerhead and carry it around by the sidehandle and use the hose to dust or clean upholstery. When you take off the powerhead, its less than 10 pounds.
I needed a lightweight vac that I could use all the time and lug up and down stairs. The side handle makes it super easy to carry and it’s a lot lighter than most other uprights. Simpler to use than canisters also.
It is also super cute with the pretty plaid. The ice blue style is nice too.

I have two cats, one with very long white hair. Her hair destroyed a Hoover that was supposed to be perfect for cat hair. So I did a lot of research for the perfect vacuum for someone who lives on the second floor but has to be able to vacuum carpeted steps, has a long haired cat, and hates to vacuum. I found the Sebo Felix. I got lucky and was able to buy a floor model at a pretty low price from a local dealer. And I have been vacuuming ever since. I absolutely love this machine. Excellent design, very easy to handle, and it devours that cat hair. Buy one! Then buy another for your best friend!

Love this vacuum, it is worth every penny.
German built, providing an entire unit of all replaceable parts, not a disposable vacuum like all the walmart specials. Something breaks, just get the part, the vacuum is built with this purpose, so all parts slide in and out easily, even for cleaning! Dont be decieved into the no filter canister vacuum trap, it is messier, worse for air quality, and just plain ugly. The filters for this vacuum are available right here through Amazon. This vacuum tilts so it can easily slide underneath couches, beds, cabinets, etc. It also has a wide variety of accessories and attachments to enhance its performance. Multi speed suction power, detachable canister so you can do stairs easily, and it in general is light weight and a very managable size. I Highly Recommend this product!
